This position is designated as Hybrid - Fully Flexible and expected to work from our World Headquarters office once per month to several times a week. The specific days in the office are determined by managers based on business requirements. Rotary is under the jurisdiction of Illinois employment laws; we require all employees to live within reasonable daily commuting distance to Evanston.

Position Overview
This position supports the Regional Leader Support team, responsible for providing expert support to the Rotary coordinators (RCs), a worldwide network of executive-level Rotary volunteers dedicated to supporting membership, strategic planning, and programs at Rotary International. You will have the opportunity to work on communications, resource development, and training, as well as reporting and evaluation, financial administration, and project management. Your contribution will serve to deliver outstanding customer service, help improve business processes, engage volunteers in efforts to support clubs and districts, and facilitate collaboration among these volunteers, other groups of Rotary members, and staff.
You Will Have
- Bachelor's or advanced degree
- Two or more years' experience working with membership organizations, and / or volunteer management
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Qualtrics, CRM, Sharepoint, and / or Adestra preferred
- Knowledge of nonprofit membership organizations
- Understanding of communications, strategic planning, and program evaluation
- Effective problem solving abilities
- Analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience working with global, multicultural audiences
- Proactive approach to professional development, on-the-job training, and skill enhancement
- Fluency in other languages (preferred)

Member Support
You will serve as first point of contact for all correspondence with all Rotary coordinators (RCs) and their assistants worldwide and offer expert counsel on achieving annual goals, resolving administrative issues, and providing up-to-date information on global Rotary initiatives and resources.You will develop, revise, and distribute materials and communications, provide in-person and distance support for learning events, and contribute to resources and publications.You will support the appointment and onboarding process for incoming Rotary coordinators (RCs), support curriculum development, and participate in on-site learning events.You will collaborate with other staff teams to share feedback received from members and receive relevant information from other departments.You will lead quarterly meetings with subject matter experts and collaborate with Rotary membership development staff to help members reach their goals.You will implement distance learning opportunities for members throughout the year on relevant topics.Reporting and Evaluation
You will support the development of annual goals and reports.You will analyze qualitative and quantitative trends.You will identify and resolve questions or concerns noted on reports and provide structured support to enhance performance when required.You will track progress toward goals and promote successes and best practices across Rotary communication channels.Financial Administration
You will be able to monitor budgets and process expense statements in accordance with departmental and organizational guidelines.You will provide input during budget development to ensure resource needs are met and prior spending trends are reflected.You will strategize and counsel volunteers to ensure successful reimbursement when needed, as well as advising on effective use of Rotary funds.Project Management
Act as the project owner for various annual departmental projects.Accountable for meeting project goals. Identifies project phases and assigns leads. Responsible for day-to-day operations of tasks being completed by phase leads and implementers. Leads project kickoff, execution, and post-con.Other Duties
Other duties may include but are not limited to : identifying and implementing changes to improve business processes and projects, implementing or contributing to departmental projects as assigned, and having the ability and willingness to travel domestically or internationally at least once annually.Leadership Attributes
