JOB SUMMARY:
The master scheduler defines the planning and scheduling of actions that drive engineering, drafting, manufacturing, and procurement of highly-engineered, large industrial equipment. These actions require extensive knowledge on conventional business software such as Excel, MS Outlook, Primavera, MS Project and other related project management and specialized MRP tools.
The function includes planning and monitoring the progress of projects, preparing schedules with inputs from several prime sources, and understanding the work and time involved in executing each activity.
The master scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete production cycle.
The master scheduler will optimize the flow of work through the organization on the basis of expediency in completing projects through the most efficient use of resources.
The master scheduler works with a number of individuals, including managers, clients, and suppliers. Strategic thinking and excellent communication skills are a fundamental requirement.
This position is a 40 hours position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and maintain master company schedule.
- Plan individual project schedules to feed master schedule.
- Plan, administrate and monitor drafting priorities.
- Plan, administrate and monitor engineering priorities.
- Plan, administrate and monitor purchasing activities.
- Plan, administrate and monitor shop activities.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in all departments.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports as required.
- Ensure on time and early deliveries by implementing, tracking and fully executing all phases of
- the master schedule.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience

- Travel time is expected to be 0 - 5%
- This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Additional hours, including evenings or weekends may be required based on engineering or project needs.
- This position can be required to participate in the company random or customer specific drug and alcohol screening and background check.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Work Environment:
Office Environment on a regular basis. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may perform work in a shop environment and will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. While the work area may be described as generally clean, safe, and "not loud", there will be machining operations that generate moderate noise and metal particles.
