Nurse Practitioner (part-time)

Accumark Diagnostics is located in Greentown Indiana and serves a regional area.

Salary:

· We are looking for a Part Time and Qualified Nurse Practitioner whose salary shall be commensurate on experience and the value brought to Accumark Diagnostics.

· This position could easily lead to full time as our business grows.

As an NP you’ll succeed by:

· Working alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, providing high-quality care to patients in an urgent care setting

· Having the opportunity to provide valuable input in the management of adult patients in rural community environment (a pediatric NP is most welcome)

· Play an integral role in accurately diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments.

· Contribute to our positive and supportive medical community

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an urgent care setting, hospital ER or medical practice including the ability to manage, diagnose and treat adult patients

2. Licensed in Indiana as a Registered RN with APRN credentials (CSR credentials not required however beneficial)

3. Additional medical skills (i.e. sutures, advanced diagnostic reasoning, order and interpret diagnostic tests, managing chronic conditions, the capacity to perform comprehensive physical examinations and conduct DOT physicals)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certified to conduct DOT physicals

2. Able to conduct minor surgeries in office:

Examples

§ Skin abnormalities: Removal of warts, skin tags, cysts, or other skin abnormalities

§ Debridement: Cleaning and removal of infections, lesions, and necrotic tissue

· Biopsy: Removing something from the body to test for cancer, infection, or other issues

· Sutures: Also known as stitches, these are low risk and don't usually cause much pain, damage, or complications
