Roth Capital Partner's is seeking an Systems Support Engineer to join our team. The primary focus of this position is to help with daily desk inquiries and supporting senior engineers in IT related projects
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Assist in the routine maintenance of computer systems and network/server infrastructure.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Usage and documentation of tickets and projects in a Help Desk ticketing system
- Assist Senior Engineers with ticket inquiries and IT projects.
- Maintain/Document asset inventory of all IT related infrastructure and peripherals.
- Foster/Maintain vendor relationships.
Necessary Skills:
- Experience in using help desk applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Troubleshooting methodology skills.
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software.
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, VPN, WAN/LAN).
- Familiar with the of the following technologies:
- Operating Systems - Microsoft Windows 11
- Microsoft Server 2016 and above
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Entra
- Knowledge of Android and iOS.
Highly Desired Skills/Experience:
- 2-5 years Networking experience
- Experience with project management.
- Server/network infrastructure management
- Willingness to learn
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BA degree preferred with coursework in information systems or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- 2-5 years IT related work experience
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Able to pass background check
- Some travel required
Salary Range: 67,000 base plus annual discretionary bonus.
