SUMMARY: Prepares, stocks, weighs, and wraps meat and seafood products. This is an entry-level position perfect for candidates looking to start their career in the meat industry. This is a union position.
*This position may need to cover shifts at various store locations, mileage reimbursements would be provided*
WORK HOURS: Schedules and hours vary. Positions are likely to include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Although we are interested in providing our employees with a stable work schedule, our ability to do so depends on our assessment of work needs and business conditions.
PAY: $14.95 - $21.55 depending upon education and experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned:
Roth’s Fresh Market employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and prompt friendly service.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations
- Prepare, stock, cut, weigh and wrap meat and seafood products
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and retail cases
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
- Practice safe use of tools and equipment used in the position
- Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will have experience working in a meat/seafood department, the grocery industry, or performing similar work. Must be 18 years or older.
