What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Crew Stocker position at Roth's Fresh Markets?
*OVERNIGHT SHIFTS ONLY* (Shifts will vary based on business need, but generally are somewhere between the hours of 9pm and 7am.)
REPORTS TO: Stock Department Lead
JOB SUMMARY: Order, price and shelf grocery items in conjunction with or in the absence of the Stock Department Lead.
HOURS: Schedule varies based on business need.
PAY: $15.20 to $20.50 depending upon experience and/or education
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. * Frequently-Unload, cut and place merchandise onto shelves for customer purchase

2. *Occasionally-Clean and organize the backroom for the next day’s activities or assign task appropriately
3. *Occasionally-Sort and package spoils for return to vendors or assign task appropriately
4. *Occasionally-Face and stock all shelves and end bases for customer purchase
5. *Frequently-Unload, cut and place merchandise onto shelves for customer purchase
6. *Occasionally-Receive merchandise (primarily frozen) and verify quantities received with corresponding invoices
7. *Occasionally-Follow security measures to minimize theft and/or damage to property
8. *Rarely-Check inventory of grocery items and reorder products
9. *Rarely-Provide direction to employees as they unload, cut, stock and cleanup
10. *Rarely-Teach new employees various tasks and techniques associated with their assignments
11. *Rarely-Handle employee problems or performance issues in conjunction with the Night Foreman
12. *Rarely-Clean sales area for the next day’s business
13. *Rarely-Re-price products, change shelf tags and put price changes into the computer system
QUALIFICATIONS
1. No employee shall pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others
2. Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees, under all circumstances
3. Minimum of 1 year previous experience as Stocking Clerk or equivalent
4. Must be age 18 or older
5. Must be able to get along with others
