What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Clerk position at Roth's Fresh Markets?
REPORTS TO: Produce Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Assists in creating and maintaining a pleasant shopping environment by keeping produce racks full and floors, cases and coolers clean.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. No employee shall pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others
2. Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees, under all circumstances
3. Must be age 16 or older
4. Must be able to get along with others
5. Must demonstrate a friendly, outgoing approach to dealing with others
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Assist customers with product selection and preparation tips
2. Organize and clean the backroom and coolers
3. Perform other tasks as delegated by the Produce Department Manager, Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
4. Arrange, sort, stack and trim produce
5. Assist in carrying out groceries for customers
6. Assist in training and providing work directions to entry-level personnel

Pay: $15.20 - $20.50 per hour
