A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSSER / FOOD RUNNER
As a Busser / Food Runner, you set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. We rely on you to not only prepare dining areas by decorating tables with candles, napkins, linens, and flowers prior to guest arrival, but also to play an active role in our guests' dining experience. This includes serving water, refilling beverages, removing dirty utensils and dishes as needed, and cleaning and resetting tables after guests have left. Finally, to keep our restaurant flowing smoothly, you help run food and beverages.
Whether in the kitchen or out on the floor, you maintain all health and safety regulations. You support other team members by providing outstanding guest service and always ensuring that you demonstrate a polite and friendly attitude towards guests, wait staff, and management. Ultimately, you help ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long periods of time
A degree in hospitality or restaurant management would be a plus. Prior experience working as a busser, food runner, or other entry-level roles in a restaurant is preferred. WORK SCHEDULE
