When you become our full- or part-time Line Cook, you'll earn $17 per hour , depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A LINE COOK :
As a full- or part-time Line Cook with our restaurant, your day is filled with excitement and energy. You work closely with our Head Chef to prepare and cook food in a specific station, while also assisting with stocking and setting up all kitchen stations. You prepare food, plate dishes, and work closely with servers to ensure that orders are completed to perfection and in a timely manner. And at the end of your shift, you help clean and maintain the kitchen stations, floor, and equipment. You love having an opportunity to use your passion for cooking with a fun, energetic team!
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A LINE COOK
To be successful as a full- or part-time Line Cook, you'll need :
- At least 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Ability to learn, grow, and adapt to the needs of the restaurant
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Strong kitchen administration knowledge
- Exceptional active listening skills
- Ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift up to 30 pounds at a time
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION :
This cooking position has both part-time and full-time shifts available. Our restaurant is located in Turlock, CA, 95380.
