Job Title: Physician Relations Specialist
Location: Hudson County and New York City
Hours: M-F: 8am - 4:30pm
Base Salary Range: $72,000 - $95,000
Position Summary: The Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referring physicians and their staff to increase patient referrals to the Rothman Institute.
Position Responsibilities:
- Visits referring physicians’ offices in all target areas or territories as assigned by Marketing Manager. On these visits the Community Relations Specialist must provide the latest version of the RI Marketing Kit in a professional, friendly manner and be sure to highlight information.
- Pertaining to above, the Community Relations Specialist must plan, in advance, what offices will be visited.
- Writes follow up letters to offices visited within one week’s time. This should include addressing any issues that may have been brought to the Marketing Representative’s attention at time of visit.
- Writes notes in ACT database on visits and help keep the database “clean” by deleting wrong information and adding new contacts.
- Keeps up to date the display cases which house the patient letters and internal happenings.
- Assists in other marketing projects when needed as assigned by the Marketing Manager.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree minimum education requirement
- 2 years of sales experience required
- Physician Relations or Liaison experience highly preferred
