What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at Roto-Rooter Corporation?
Overview:
Roto-Rooter Corporation is looking for a Production Technician at our facility in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities:
In this position you will assemble machinery components by performing such tasks as motor wiring, assemble cable reels, ramps, cranes, package blades, wire electric switches, and assemble Power Cable Feed returns. You will also assist in the assembly of Roto-Rooter machines and accessories according to specifications. Some other responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
- Retrieve specified parts from storage to work area manually or by using a forklift
- Fit parts together on a bench while following work instructions and blueprints
- Align parts and verify alignment, clearance of parts with micrometers, scale, and gauges if needed.
- Connect electric wires to terminals of subassembly
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty successfully along with the following:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training
