Job Summary:
Roto-Rooter is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Associate to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and systems management. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate pursuing a career in Information Technology and eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting IT problems and resolving user issues.
- Help maintain and update IT documentation and inventory records.
- Support the IT team with system upgrades, installations, and configurations.
- Ensure security best practices are followed for company systems and data.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve IT efficiency.
- Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior IT support experience or relevant coursework is a plus.
