What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Laborer / Helper position at Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service?
Operating in Grand Rapids and Wyoming, MI area, Roto-Rooter is looking for laborers/helpers for their Water Cleanup Division.

Base pay plus commission!
As a water restoration laborer your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in daily emergency services.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Communicate job process with customers and answer questions accordingly.
- Must be able to measure and sketch basic floor plan.
- Assist with removal of damaged or wet building materials such as carpet, pad, baseboard, cabinets, drywall.
- Take daily moisture readings, measurements, set up commercial drying equipment.
- Responsible for cleanliness and care of Roto-Rooter vehicle.
Requirements include:
- Must have a professional appearance and great attitude.
- A valid driver license with a reasonable driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violence or theft.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Some night and weekend work is required.
- Must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.

- Weekends as needed
