Service Manager

Roto-Rooter, a premier provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Service Manager to lead our Allentown, PA team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in service management with a strong emphasis on sales. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee and manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
• Sales: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and achieve sales targets.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor service technicians to enhance their performance and career growth.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.

Qualifications:

• Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales with the ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
• Management Experience: Previous experience in a service management role, preferably in the plumbing or home services industry.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of plumbing and drain cleaning services is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
