Key Responsibilities:

Deliver training programs to apprentices and journeymen, focusing on core plumbing skills, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and curriculum based on the latest plumbing codes and technology.
Assess trainees’ skills, providing feedback and ensuring they meet competency standards.
Conduct practical hands-on training in real-world plumbing settings.
Stay current on industry advancements, regulations, and trends to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.
Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, helping them build their confidence and skills.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of individual students, providing corrective guidance where necessary.
Responsible for overseeing shop operations and ensuring proper maintenance of company vehicles.

Requirements:

Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner.
Certification or qualification in plumbing is a plus.
A patient, supportive, and proactive attitude toward teaching.
Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and have a clean driving record.
