Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training programs to apprentices and journeymen, focusing on core plumbing skills, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and curriculum based on the latest plumbing codes and technology.
- Assess trainees’ skills, providing feedback and ensuring they meet competency standards.
- Conduct practical hands-on training in real-world plumbing settings.
- Stay current on industry advancements, regulations, and trends to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to trainees, helping them build their confidence and skills.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of individual students, providing corrective guidance where necessary.
- Responsible for overseeing shop operations and ensuring proper maintenance of company vehicles.
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner.
- Certification or qualification in plumbing is a plus.
- A patient, supportive, and proactive attitude toward teaching.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and have a clean driving record.
