What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Roto-Rooter Plumbing?
Roto-Rooter is in need of a detailed-oriented, experienced service dispatcher!
You will be responsible for ensuring our customers encounter kind and speedy appointment scheduling when speaking with you while also constructing the daily schedule of our growing technician team. Covering multiple counties in both Alabama and Mississippi, you will be working closely with management and your fellow service dispatchers to ensure jobs are properly assigned and the routing is at it's most efficient.
Service dispatching is a vital part of any trades team and we are looking for the person who is ready to jump in with both feet!
Pay: starting at $14-$16 per hour

Responsibilities Include:
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
- Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, or supervisors
- Using telephones, or text messages to contact employees and customers
- Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
- Preparing daily work such as schedules
- Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews
- Being in charge of communications within company assigned territories
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- High attention to detail.
- Extremely strong communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Highly self-motivated and initiative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
