At Rotochopper, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience and make meaningful contributions to real-world projects. You will work closely with our experienced engineers to develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls.
- You will use computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment to create detailed designs and models.
- You will review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs.
- You will create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering changes associated with projects.
The ideal candidate will be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field from a four-year university. Proficiency in SolidWorks drawing software is also required.
