What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Payroll Assistant position at Rotolo Consultants Inc?
MUST BE BILINGUAL- ENGLISH/SPANISH
The function of this position is to provide administrative support to the Payroll Administrator. The main administrative duties of the Payroll Admin Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Addressing Employee Payroll Inquiries
- Scanning Payroll Documents for Uploading to Employee Profile
- Input Employee Payroll Deduction - Garnishments, Liens, Child Support, Advances, Benefits, 401K, etc.
- Collect/Organize Payroll Absence Requests
- Complete/Submit Employee Verifications
- Payroll Terminations and Reporting
- Compensation Change or Other Change of Employee Status
- Paycheck History Upload to Employee Self-Serve Portal
- Receiving, Completing, Submitting Unemployment Claim Items
- Tracking Benefits & 401K (Waivers/Enrollment)
- COBRA (database & filing)
- Bureau of Labor Statistics Reporting
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher is preferred
- 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant experience required
- 1-2 years of Human Resources and/or Payroll experience preferred
- Computer literacy is a must
- This position will interact with both English and Spanish speaking associates. English/Spanish Bilingual is a MUST
- Ability to work confidently in a face-paced environment
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team
