Rotondo Environmental Solutions seeks a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our growing stormwater team and lead business development across Texas. We are a trusted partner in stormwater management, offering a full suite of innovative solutions, from underground detention systems to advanced filtration and Low-Impact Development (LID) technologies.
In this role, you’ll serve as a technical advisor and territory manager, helping engineers, contractors, developers, and municipalities design and implement effective stormwater strategies.
- Drive sales growth by developing specifications, supporting project designs, and closing opportunities across the Texas territory.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, site developers, regulators, and landscape architects.
- Deliver technical presentations, conduct Lunch & Learns, and promote Rotondo’s stormwater solutions to influence design and purchasing decisions.
- Manage and track project opportunities through all stages using our in-house CRM. Ensure data is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Provide on-site installation support and serve as a liaison during key construction phases to ensure the successful implementation of Rotondo products.
- Stay informed on regional stormwater regulations, market trends, and competitive products to position Rotondo as a thought leader.
- Assist internal teams with product submittals and approval processes in various jurisdictions.
- Participate in regional trade shows, local engineering chapter events, and other professional networking opportunities.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with at least 3 years focused on stormwater product specification, technical field promotion, or regulatory involvement.
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a large, geographically diverse territory with autonomy and discipline.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong understanding of civil site plans and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with custom or proprietary CRMs a plus).
- Capable of working efficiently from a remote/home office.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 75% of the time throughout Texas.
