What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Rotor Clip?
Large manufacturing company is looking for an experienced mechanic with strong skills to join our team. Candidate must be proficient in diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment as well as building and refurbishing of new equipment. The machinery includes but not limited to high speed stamping, wire drawing, and metal shaping equipment.
Candidate must be able to work from blueprints, drawings or take measurements to plan new or complete repair projects. Candidate must be able to work well unsupervised as well as in a team setting. The candidate must be able to diagnose and repair mechanical failure with the ability to learn and adapt under different circumstances. Some electrical experience helpful.
Must be able to work efficiently to complete projects on a timely basis. Proper use of PPE a must and candidate needs to provide their own set of hand tools.
Must Speak fluent English.

Ability to :
- Proficiently use most types of hand tools
- Read a micrometer and Vernier
- Operate various shop equipment (drill press, grinder, belt sander)
- Diagnose industrial machinery
- Understand lubrication, Pneumatics, and hydraulic systems
- Work in an organized and safe workmanlike manner
- Manage time efficiently
- Communicate issues with co workers and managers
