What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blade Repair Technician (Level I, II, or III) position at Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing, LLC?
Job Title: Rotor Blade Technician (Level I, II, and III)
Pay: From $20.00 to $45.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- 3 Day work week
- Shift A Monday to Wednesday
- Shift B Thursday to Saturday
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities:
- Media Blasting/Grit Blasting
- Metal/Composite Sanding
- Metal/Composite Painting
- Sheet Metal Repairs and Composite Repairs
- Light Machining
- Operate various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. Forklift)
- Documenting all work performed and recommended on the necessary paperwork
Skills:
- Proven experience as a repair technician or similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of measuring devices (e.g. tape measure, calipers)
- Autobody experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions indoors and outdoors
Requirements:
- Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively
- Must be able to work on your feet all day performing tasks such as bending, stooping, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Must read, write, and speak the English Language
- Must be 18 or older
