Job Summary:
Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing LLC is seeking a highly skilled Rotor Blade Technician to join our team in Pocahontas, AR. As a Rotor Blade Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of helicopter rotor blades.
About Us:
Rotorcraft Repair & Manufacturing LLC holds a repair station from the Federal Aviation Administration for non-destructive inspection techniques and the maintenance and modification of bonded structures for helicopter main and tail helicopter rotor blades. We offer a full range of inspection and restoration services from non-destructive testing of aviation and non-aviation articles to full overhaul of civil, public use, and military main and tail rotor blades. Our capabilities also include modifying blades from and to various configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform media blasting and grit blasting tasks
- Conduct metal and composite sanding
- Apply metal and composite painting
- Repair sheet metal and composites
- Operate light machinery and heavy equipment
- Document all work performed and recommended on necessary paperwork
Requirements:
- Must pass a drug and alcohol test
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and work on your feet all day performing tasks such as bending, stooping, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Must read, write, and speak English fluently
- Must be 18 or older
Qualifications:
- Experience in rotor blade maintenance, inspection, and repair
- Knowledge of non-destructive inspection techniques for bonded structures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus
