What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter for Washington State Operations position at Rough Country?
Paint Shop Painter Team Member Job Duties:
This position’s duties/requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum of 5 years prior automotive finishing required
- Proficient in color theory and tinting
- Experience must include compliant use of HVLP paint equipment and application of 2k materials, with the ability to adjust the application process and specifications based on paint manufacturer technical data sheets.
- Candidates will possess the ability to handle imperfections or issues that arise in the paint booth before final cure, that meet quality standards set by management.
- Painter will be required to wear proper PPE, including a respirator, pass a fitment test, and maintain 6H compliance.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
- Report daily to the supervisor
Requirements:
Self starter – ability to work with minimal supervision, above average attendance, ability to perform basic skills (reading, writing, math), above average communication skills, safety oriented, good housekeeping rules and procedures, exhibit diplomacy with management, and peers, ability to work extended hours as needed to fulfill orders daily, and train additional personnel as needed.
