Position Title: Beretta Room Concierge
Reports to: Wildlife Manager
Department: Wildlife, Recreation, & Equine
This position is the ambassador of the wildlife department and is responsible for assisting the Director of the Wildlife, Recreation, and Equine services with all office paperwork required for this department. The Beretta Room Concierge will also work closely with management in setting up schedules, maintaining and updating calendars. Learn and understand all information on the services offered, assist the guides, student interns, and the sales department as well as the front office and conference services.
General Job Explanation:
1. Knowledgeable of all details regarding the recreational activities throughout the operations is critical
2. Assisting in all Wildlife/ Recreation/ Equine activities as business levels dictates, including resort fee activities such as Zip line, climbing wall and bungee trampoline.
3. Proper Attendance is critical for the success for this position. You can expect to work most weekends and holidays as business levels dictate.
4. Care and cleaning of all equipment related to the hunt experience, hunt truck, equipment shed, guns, can-ams, gun room, hunt vests, disc-golf bags, Beretta Room, etc.
5. Ensure that 5-star standards are maintained (HUUGGS).
6. Conduct yourself in a way that all staff will feel confident and comfortable in the work place environment.
7. Work with all other departments to insure smooth interdepartmental operations throughout hotel.
8. Attend daily and weekly staff meeting.
9. Have strong organizational skills, PR and sales skills.
10. Take charge as needed, using initiative and judgment to handle issues effectively while maintaining an efficient and professional manner and work place.
11. Personally contact all leisure guests during the week and ASK them when they would like to do resort fee activities (not during weekends or “summer time” schedule).
12. Booking and scheduling of all paid activities for guests along with calling and receiving confirmation from the guest prior to the activity.
13. Answer all phone calls and emails with etiquette to book activities or answer any questions regarding the recreation department, make recommendations when necessary and be helpful.
14. Execute a daily check list with all daily duties listed out to properly close out the system for the accounting department.
Job Requirements
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft word, Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
- Professional Mannerisms and Appearance.
- Capability of interfacing directly and indirectly with guests in a clear concise and patient manner.
- Ability to adapt easily to changes in the services, schedules and daily functions.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English very clearly.
- In depth knowledge of V1 operating system.
- Ability to identify and address safety issues immediately.
- Knowledge of the RCL business plan.
- Be proactive and willing to learn.
- Work with direct team members on a daily basis in order to be successful.
- Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test since you would have access to the gun room.
