The 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Round Hill Country Club plays a key role in golf operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests. Responsibilities include maintaining PGA membership, managing golf operations in the Director of Golf's absence, and providing outstanding customer service. This role oversees the practice facility, outside services, and golf shop staff while also handling retail operations, demo events, and inventory. Additional duties include enforcing club policies, conducting lessons and clinics, managing the handicap program, assisting with tournaments, budgeting, and participating in golf committee meetings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR!
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
PGA Class A member or completion of GPTP Level 2 is required. B.A. or B.S. college degree is preferred with a minimum of 3 years’ management experience at a private golf club facility. An enthusiastic presence with excellent communication and organizational skills is a must. Skilled use of all MS Office programs with experience in golf club software systems preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: PGA Class A member or completion of GPTP level 2 is required.
