Elementary TAG Specialist - 50% Half Time position (4 hours per day)
BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Ensure the academic and effective needs of students requiring gifted services are
met at the campus level. Expectation for work is 75% instructional activities (classroom collaboration and co-teaching;
independent study, and enrichment) and 25% systems support activities. Enable students to develop competencies and
skills to function successfully in society.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid Texas Teacher Certificate, 30
hours of Gifted and Talented Foundation training, and two years of related experience.
