About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Director of Custodial Services to join our team. This role involves assisting with the operational, personnel, and financial activities of the custodial department while ensuring compliance with all district, state, and federal policies. The position requires leadership in managing staff, overseeing budgets, and enhancing organizational efficiency to uphold our commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
- Department Operations : Oversee custodial functions, including budgeting, compliance, payroll, and supply management.
- Leadership & Staff Management : Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff while fostering teamwork and recognizing performance.
- Special Projects : Manage and support specialized cleaning projects like floor refinishing and carpet cleaning.
- Emergency & Compliance : Monitor emergency systems, ensure safety compliance, and provide solutions during incidents.
- Community Collaboration : Represent the department in district and community meetings and enhance service delivery through teamwork.
