Position Overview:
The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales drives revenue growth and contributes in shaping Round Room’s overall business strategy, including financial goals.
Round Room operates two business models: TCC, the corporate retail operations, and Wireless Zone, the franchise model. While this role primarily manages Wireless Zone, the EVP of Sales collaborates closely with TCC peers to align strategies across both business units. A thorough understanding of Round Room’s overall financial performance and the impact of each unit is essential.
Reporting to the President, the EVP of Sales leads and motivates the sales organization, develops innovative strategies, and ensures sales objectives align with the company’s strategic and financial goals. They will foster strong franchisee relationships, implement scalable processes, and cultivate a culture of excellence and accountability.
This role requires a seasoned leader with expertise in managing large, cross-functional teams, a proven track record of delivering results in a competitive wireless industry, and strong financial acumen to contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions. Experience with franchise models is highly preferred.

Strategic Leadership:
- Lead and live out the 5 Promises with employees, owners, customers, and in the community.
- Confidently represent the sales organization at the executive table, contributing to company-wide financial discussions, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategy that significantly influence overall business outcomes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across franchise locations and achieve company goals.
- Identify opportunities for sales process improvements and operational efficiency to support franchisees in meeting their targets.
- Establish clear sales targets and performance metrics while holding direct reports accountable for achieving goals; provide regular coaching and feedback; reward strong performance and address performance issues promptly and consistently.
- Collaborate with store support and franchise operations teams to align sales initiatives with overall business priorities.
- Deliver detailed sales forecasts and market analysis to inform franchise strategy and leadership decision-making.
Financial and Operational Oversight:
- Partner with franchisees to analyze and understand their Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring alignment with operational strategies to improve profitability.
- Provide support to franchise owners seeking to better understand their financials or develop financial strategies that align with their business goals and the overall franchise model.
- Provide guidance to franchisees on managing cash flow effectively to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
- Manage and outline quarterly and annual sales budgets for franchise operations with an emphasis on cost efficiency and ROI.
- Track key sales performance indicators (KPIs) across franchise locations and provide regular reporting to the executive team.
- Evaluate sales data to identify challenges and opportunities for improving strategy and franchisee productivity.
Sales Team and Franchisee Development:
- Recruit, hire, and mentor top sales talent across the franchise model, ensuring teams are equipped for success.
- Support corporate training programs tailored to franchise sales teams to enhance performance and skillsets.
- Build strong connections with franchise owners, we care about their businesses.
- Support franchise owners in driving high-performing, customer-focused teams that reflect the company's core values.
- Lead large, geographically dispersed teams (50 members), fostering collaboration, high morale, and a focus on results.
- Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the franchise sales organization.
Franchise and Market Focus:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners, ensuring consistent alignment with company sales strategies and objectives.
- Monitor wireless industry trends, analyze competitor activities, and position franchise locations for a competitive advantage.
- Anticipate customer and franchisee needs by providing solutions that drive profitability and long-term success.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered. MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline, preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within a retail environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of franchise experience, preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years leading large teams of 50 employees is required.
- Demonstrated success in leading franchise sales and implementing scalable, repeatable processes.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, supporting franchise success, and exceeding sales targets.
Work Environment

Travel Requirements
- Travel Expectations: Up to75% travel, including overnight stays, to participate in sales rallies, franchisee conventions, fundraising events, and other company initiatives nationwide.
