- Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure foreclosure and bankruptcy activities are processed in compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency and company guidelines. This includes, but not limited to, the following:
- Completes a quality review of all foreclosure and bankruptcy accounts in queue for referral to counsel.
- Completes a quality review of all financial figures needed for the foreclosure and bankruptcy processes.
- Reviews various checklists completed for foreclosure and bankruptcy processes.
- Receives, reviews, and sights exceptions to counsel on all legal documents as it relates to the foreclosure or bankruptcy action.
- Manages various inquiries/problems relative to the execution of foreclosure and bankruptcy documents.
- Executes, ships, and tracks foreclosure and bankruptcy documents.
- Monitors attorney performance regarding response time to issues/problems and/or revision of legal documents.
- Diligently follows up on all outstanding requests and telephone calls from internal and external partners.
- Manages reports geared to drive workflow.
- Manages exception reporting used as key controls for minimizing risk.
- Monitors foreclosure and bankruptcy documents, identifying trends or risks associated with the portfolio.
- Notifies management of all potential high-risk matters that pose a risk to the company or investor.
- Follows departmental and business policies with strict adherence.
- Prioritizes allocated work to ensure timely and accurate resolution to both external and internal partners.
- Performs related duties as assigned by manager.
Required:
- 2 years of Quality Assurance experience
- 2 years of Mortgage Servicing experience
- Knowledge of basic computer software programs including Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet and Microsoft Outlook.
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict guidelines and procedures.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- 2 years of Foreclosure experience
- 2 years of Bankruptcy experience
- MSP and LoanSphere experience
