Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their mental health and wellness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in health settings to address mental health concerns.
- Stay updated on best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to patients in distress.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and coding practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Willing to provide psychiatric services from ages 7
- Proficiency in health coaching techniques to promote patient engagement in their own care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
