Adult Day Program Director
This person is responsible for the smooth running of the program. This person is responsible for staff management, financial management, and program planning. This person provides leadership, assistance, supervision, program training, and support to staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uphold the mission, values, policies and procedures of Roundup Fellowship.
- Developing and supervising the implementation of program curriculum to include community integration, person centered services and individual enrichment.
- Ensure program is in compliance with all rules and regulations including health department, fire department, Health Care Policy and Finance (HCFP), Colorado Department of Public Health and environment (CDPHE).
- Oversee program staffing including supervision, scheduling, hiring, training, coaching and performance reviews.
- Oversee programming for all individuals enrolled in the program ensuring timely reports and documentation.
- Identify program and individual staff needs and develop a plan for addressing these needs.
- Ensure accountability of all program money including program budget, and staffing allocation.
- Maintain frequent and professional communication with supervisors, family members, host home providers, therapists, staff members, and other professionals or significant others.
- Complete appropriate documentation including log notes, communication notes, supervision notes, and incident reports.
- Handle emergency situations effectively while following established procedures.
- Provide direction, support, and role modeling to staff members.
- Responsible for supporting and maintaining a physically and psychologically safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, preferred or 5 years’ experience in human services may be substituted and 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Must have 5 years of Valid Driving experience and a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be willing to obtain Valid Colorado Driver’s License within 30 days of hire.
- Good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
- Knowledge of the governing rules and regulations.
- Satisfactory background checks.
- Requires scheduling flexibility.
- Ability to work as a team leader.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing participants programs, implementing budgets, and supervising employees is desired.
- Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
- Core Safety Care Certification maintained.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
