Medical Coordinator
Job Summary:
This role is like being the ultimate health superhero for the youth in the Residential Child Care Facilities! You’ll be the go-to person for all things medical — scheduling appointments, getting youth to and from their doctor visits, and making sure they have the support they need to speak up about their health. You’ll also be hands-on in the home, providing direct care and making sure everyone stays happy and healthy. It’s a blend of superhero and caregiver, with a side of appointment coordination!

Benefits begin at first of the following month after completing a full 30 days of employment (i.e. start date 4 January 2025, benefits initiate 1 March 2025).
Pay Range: $19.86 – $23.72 an hour based off experience and education
Duties and Responsibilities
- Uphold Roundup Fellowship’s mission, values, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise youth, ensuring their safety at home and in the community.
- Assist with medication administration and support youth in medical appointments.
- Schedule and coordinate medical appointments, transport youth, and communicate with providers.
- Maintain communication with supervisors, family, and medical staff.
- Complete medical documentation and ensure physician’s orders are signed and uploaded.
- Handle emergencies according to procedures and assist with behavior management.
- Provide direction, support, and role modeling to staff.
- Perform basic cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment.
- Participate in quality improvement processes and trauma-informed training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be 21 years old at time of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent
,and TWO (2) YEARS’ experience with youth or THIRTY (30) SEMESTER HOURS of college credit AND ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE with youth or AN ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE. - 5 years of driving experience with a valid Colorado Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory background checks as per State Regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- QMAP certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
- Ability to resolve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility in scheduling and on-call availability.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate respectfully and tactfully.
- Full certification in crisis management (Safety Care).
