You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing accurate service recommendations, and facilitating a smooth service experience.
Duties
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, including vehicle maintenance and repair options.
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to answer customer inquiries regarding vehicle performance and issues.
- Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Manage service appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-up with customers.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and recommendations.
- Ensure a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and auto service management.
- Mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with air brake systems, tire service, alignment, and other key areas of automotive repair.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to upsell services while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
