Position Title : Dining Room Attendant

Position Summary / General Description :
The Dining Room Attendant provide a warm, friendly and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guest expectations. Keeps all areas, dining room and bar, cleaned and stocked with supplies while being familiar with menu items, prices and recipes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including all tables and chairs, cleaning the coffee and drink equipment.Restocks the dining room and bar with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments, ice, and paper suppliesPrepare all beverage required for service, including coffee, iced tea and hot water.Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with Food Safety & Sanitation guidelines and the HACCP System.Making sure food product is being dated and labeledGreet guest after they are seated.Assist restaurant servers to serve the guest.Pour water and refill coffee and tea cups.Perform outlet opening duties such as setting tables, chairs, stocking stationsEmptying and cleaning food cartsResponsible for conducting all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.Be a team player (e.g., work toward team goals and foster a collaborative and positive work environment; put the team first assist coworkers; treat all coworkers with kindness, courtesy and respect never engage in negativity; maintain openness to coaching, learning and improving; receptive to change and willingness to embrace challenges with team-spirit).Adhere to all company, department policies, and state liquor laws regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages.Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions (e.g., learn guests’ names and preferences; connect with them individually and professionally; smile; make eye contact and verbally greet guests from arrival to the property through departure; and provide fast and friendly service to guests).Develop a thorough knowledge of services, room locations, amenities, surroundings (e.g., restaurants, theater, etc.), providing accurate directions, and information for guest inquiries about promotions and special events.At all times maintain a courteous, positive and professional working relationship with all LDC personnel and the general public (e.g., coworkers, clients and vendors).Work under pressure; maintain regular and punctual attendance including working odd and unusual hours, weekends and holidays.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.Education & Experience :
High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience in restaurant or food service capacity desirable.Qualifications :
Minimum age of 18Knowledge of general kitchen operating preferredMust obtain and wear proper footwear for safety and health.Licensing & Certification :

Operate and maintain dispensers such as : fountain, juice, creamer, coffee and tea brewers.Essential Physical Requirements :
This job requires the ability to balance / climb, bend over, hear, reach overhead, stand, talk, turn / twist, walk, repetitively use hands and carry, lift 1-25 lbs. 51-100% of the time.This job requires the ability to push / pull, slide / transfer 1-25 lbs. and carry, lift 25-50 lbs. 25-50% of the time.Essential Mental Demands :

Must pass a pre-employment alcohol / drug screen.Must be able to obtain and maintain ServSafe Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.Must be able to obtain and maintain Alcohol Certification License within 30 days of hire
