Position Title : Outside Maintenance

Position Summary / General Description :
Outside maintenance personnel independently perform routine outdoor maintenance to include watering, raking, mowing, weeding, planting, power washing, trash / litter removal and shovel snow as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Gather and disposes litter and perform weeding activities.Schedule work in cooperation with other trades, departments. and customers.Maintains facilities by regularly power washing including preparing surfaces by scraping, wet sand blasting, applying cleaning agents, and maintaining exterior hardscape surfaces while protecting adjacent surfaces as required.Maintains a safe work procedures by erecting traffic control, barriers, cones and signs.At all times maintain personal and customer comfort and safety.Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.Report any issues regarding the performance of equipment or stock of consumable materials used in the Power washing operation to supervisor. Prepare orders of supplies if required.Assist with small construction tasks such as handling and / or transportation of equipment and materials.Keep daily reports of work orders and work completed.Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions (e.g., learn guests’ names and preferences; connect with them individually and professionally; smile; make eye contact and verbally greet guests).Be a team player (e.g., work toward team goals and foster a collaborative and positive work environment; put the team first; assist coworkers; treat all coworkers with kindness, courtesy and respect; never engage in negativity; maintain openness to coaching, learning and improving; receptive to change and willingness to embrace challenges with team-spirit).At all times maintain a courteous, positive, and professional working relationship with all LDC personnel and the general public (e.g. clients and vendors).Work under pressure; maintain regular and punctual attendance including working odd and unusual hours, weekends and holidays.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.Education & Experience :
High School diploma or GED preferred.Must have six months of relevant work experience.Licensing & Certification :
None.Computer Equipment, Software, Machinery :
Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, power washers, sod cutters and pruning saws.Applicable hand and power tools (e.g., leaf blowers).Essential Physical Requirements :
Requires the ability to bend over, crouch / stoop, drive, hear, stand, turn / twist, walk and repetitively use hands 51-100% of the time.Requires the ability to balance / climb, reach overhead, sit and talk 25-50% of the time.Requires the ability to push / pull 1-50 lbs. 51-100% of the time and 50 lbs. 25-50% of the time.Requires the ability to carry and lift 1-25 lbs. 51-100% of the time; 25-50 lbs. 25-50% of the time; and 50 lbs. 1-24% of the time.Requires the ability to slide / transfer 1-25 lbs. 50-100% of the time; 25-50 lbs. 25-50% of the time; and 50 lbs. 1-25% of the time.Essential Mental Demands :

The job is performed indoors and outdoors with frequent exposure to high and cold temperatures, loud noises and occasional exposure to fumes.Other Requirements :
