Position Title : Warehouse Worker

Position Summary / General Description :
A Warehouse Worker receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse. In addition, this position works with food deliveries, supplies, and material that is received and forwarded to all sites for the corporation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsible for receiving and delivering equipment and goods to internal customers in a timely manner.Responsible for storing and stocking items received in a safe and secure manner within designated area(s) such as the Warehouse.Responsible for utilizing material handling equipment in a safe manner and ensuring that such equipment is properly maintained.Responsible for exercising tact, courtesy, and initiative in handling routine problems.Maintain and keep inventory in order on shelves.Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.Maintain quality service by following organization standards.Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Complete reports by entering required information.Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Support profit centers, supervisors and demonstrate all needs to this area.Perform job duties efficiently and effectively without reminders.Delegate and follow upon completion or assigned work.Work effectively and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.Ability to do general housekeeping when needed or end of each shift.Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assignedEducation & Experience :
High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.Relevant work experience preferred.Licensing & Certification :
None.Computer Equipment, Software, Machinery :
Safe use of equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks when performing warehouse duties.Ability to operate battery operated forklifts and pallet jacks.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of Paramount (purchasing software).Essential Physical Requirements :
Requires employee to hear, talk, walk, kneel, turn / twist and repetitively use hands the majority of the time.Requires employee to push / pull, carry, lift, and slide / transfer 1-50 lbs. the majority of the time.Essential Mental Demands :
Problem solving, organizing, planning, making decisions, interpreting data, reading and writing 51-100% of the time.Supervisory Responsibilities :
None.Work Environment (inside / outside) :
The work is performed in the warehouse and within all locations of the corporation.Other Requirements :
Must pass a pre-employment alcohol / drug screen.Obtain and maintain a gaming license through the Pueblo of Laguna’s Gaming Control Board and must provide a valid New Mexico drivers’ license.
