Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Escrow Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the escrow process by managing documentation and facilitating communication between all parties involved in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of financial services, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist Escrow Officer in all aspects of the escrow process, as well as cover when the Escrow Officer is on vacation, out sick or visiting clients
- Data Entry, Type escrow instructions, take instruction from the Escrow Officer to effectively process the transaction
- Prepare estimated closing statements for buyers and sellers
- Package new escrows and review Preliminary Title Reports, clear issues off of the title as needed
- Order Payoff demands, Judgement Demands and State/Federal Tax lien demands, Request HOA statements and documents, request evidence of insurance and initiate Solar transfers
- Determine escrow requirements by studying and clarifying buyer, seller and lender instructions
- General processing (i.e. SI's and docs to title), title policies
- Execute all types of escrows inclusive of resale, refinance, and short sale transactions
- Assist Escrow Officer in development and marketing of new business
- Performs other duties as requested, including assistance to team members when the need arises
- Accountable client satisfaction, quality of work, and maintaining company values
