What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Party Host position at Route 7 Karting and Entertainment?
The Party Host primarily deals with parties and occasionally helps out on the floor and at the front counter. The Party Host must be great with kids! The Party Host is needed more on weekends than any other days in a week.
A Party Host has the most important job at Route 7! It is their responsibility to INTERACT with the guests and to ensure that they are creating a memorable experience for the guests and parents. The Party Host sings, dances, and plays games with the guests and ensures that everyone has a great time at the center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greets all party guests and signs in children for various parties.
- Has basic knowledge of how to book a party, the rules and regulations of the party and play area, as well as the multi-calendar program.
- Sets up and cleans the party suites.
- Makes announcements for parties.
- Makes sure the party suites are prepared for the parties with the paper products, drinks, pizzas, balloons, and
any other requests the parents may have.
- Keeps in contact with the host parents and assists in any way possible to make their stay an enjoyable one.
- Entertains the party guests during their time in the party suite (sings, dances, plays games).
- Makes sure parents know rules/regulations and sign waivers.
- Gives out wristbands.
- Offers parents the option of party tabs.
- Checks out parties and closes party tabs.
- Up-sells additional food, party bags, ice cream or other party specialty items.
- Make sure party suites are cleaned for each party (play area supervisors can assist).
- Assists in daily cleaning of all areas.
- Has knowledge of the POS system.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

- After school
