Ready to play a crucial role in getting students to and from school safely and on time? Join the ROUTE A team as a driver and help create a positive, safe environment for our students! We’re seeking responsible drivers with excellent communication skills and a clean driving record. Enjoy the flexibility of driving your own vehicle while aligning your schedule with school routes and training sessions. Plus, you’ll have weekends, summers, and holidays off—perfect for work-life balance!
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 21 years old with 3 years of consecutive driving experience
- Kind and patient—students love starting and ending their day with a friendly face!
- A school bus permit (or willing to get one—don’t worry, we’ll help you through the process!)
- Safety-focused—be able to operate a vehicle in full compliance with State and Federal traffic laws while transporting children
- Pass a background check and drug test
- Own a 4-door vehicle (2015 or newer) with up-to-date registration, insurance, and inspection
Compensation:
Earn between $360 to $1000 per week depending on mileage and the number of routes you take:
- TIER 1: 0.1 to 16 miles = $36 per trip
- TIER 2: 16.1 to 25 miles = $36 $1.76 per additional mile
