What are the responsibilities and job description for the SBP Part Time Driver position at Route A LLC?
At ROUTE A we specialize in providing logistical solutions for school transportation so that students with unique needs can attend school. We are actively looking for responsible drivers with SBP who will make the school trip for these students using their own vehicle. This means taking them to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon.
Main Requirements:
- To have a valid SBP driver's license in the state of Illinois
- Be at least twenty-one (21) Years old
- Pass a background check and drug test.
- Have a 4 Door 2015 model vehicle onward.
- Have up-to-date vehicle registration (in the state in which position is located.)
- Have personal vehicle insurance
- Must Take and Pass an online course.
Rates per trip:
- TIER 1: Trips from 0.1 to 16 miles = $40
- TIER 2: 16.1 to 25 mile trips = $40.00 $1.76 per additional mile
- TIER 3: Trips of 25.1 to 50 miles = $40.00 $1.76 per additional mile over 16 to mile 25 $1.36 per additional mile over 25
For this service, monitors are also required. These individuals will accompany the child in the back of the vehicle, ensuring that the journey is completed safely. The monitor must be at least 21 years old and can be the driver's spouse, friend, acquaintance, or neighbor. It is important to note that the monitor must come as a team with the driver, monitors are not hired separately.
