Job Overview

Route Elite is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Route Driver to join our team in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. As a Delivery Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to residential and business locations throughout the area.

Estimated Salary: $1,050 - $1,350 per week (approximately $54,600 - $70,200 per year)

Job Description:

• Deliver packages to residential and business locations, using your own vehicle or a company-provided vehicle, depending on the route.


• Operate a box truck or step van safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.


• Perform daily inspections of your vehicle, including checking fluid levels and ensuring that all necessary equipment is in good working condition.


• Loading and organizing daily loads with precision and attention to detail.


• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages.


• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.


• At least 21 years old.


• Pass a drug test and continue to submit to random drug screens throughout employment.


• Pass a DOT physical examination.


• Clean driving record and ability to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs., and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.


• Reliable transportation to and from work, with the ability to arrive on time and ready to work each day.


• Ability to climb stairs and work in all types of weather.


• Strong work ethic and 'get it done' attitude.


• Must be willing to work at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday).


• Previous experience as a local driver, route driver, truck driver, courier, pick-up driver, or delivery driver.


• Ability to understand and converse in English.
