Delivery Driver Job Description
At Route Elite, we are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to deliver packages to businesses and residences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate a vehicle safely and follow all traffic laws
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and management
- Accurately track delivery process and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license
- Pass a drug test and DOT physical
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
