Job Summary
Route Elite is seeking a reliable and skilled FedEx Ground Delivery Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to residential and business customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Deliver packages to customers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of routes.
- Perform daily inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels and ensuring proper maintenance.
- Load and organize daily loads, prioritizing packages for efficient delivery.
- Work independently and as part of a team, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining effective communication with managers.
- Accurately operate a scanner, tracking delivery processes and ensuring accurate package disposition.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a drug test and a DOT physical exam.
- Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds, and up to 150 pounds with a hand truck.
- Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work, and be on time and ready to work each day.
- Be able to climb stairs and work in all types of weather.
- Have a strong work ethic and be able to work Tuesday through Saturday.
