The opportunity
Route is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Operations Associate to provide strategic support to the executive team, with a focus on high-level operational coordination, investor relations, and internal communications. As an Executive Operations Associate, you are highly organized and a proactive individual with strong business acumen who has the ability to manage complex projects and tasks. You will have the opportunity to support senior leadership in fast-paced environments and showcase your ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and communicate seamlessly across all levels of the organization.
What you'll do
Executive Support:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing proactive support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage and optimize the executive team's calendars, ensuring priorities are met and time is allocated efficiently.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, detailed itineraries, and expense management for the executive team.
- Draft, review, and edit key communications, presentations, and reports for senior leadership.
Investor Relations:
- Take a lead role in preparing investor communications and materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, providing timely updates and responding to inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings and participate in related discussions and follow-ups.
Internal Communications:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and align the organization with executive priorities.
- Draft executive messages, internal memos, and key announcements.
- Facilitate the flow of information between leadership and other teams, ensuring all internal stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen company culture and foster transparency in communications.
Ad Hoc Projects & Operations Support:
- Take ownership of cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to delivery.
- Work closely with other departments to improve operational processes and support strategic initiatives.
- Lead logistics and coordination for company wide events, including All Hands.
- Manage ad-hoc requests from leadership, providing executive-level problem-solving and project management expertise.
What we're looking for
- 5 years of experience in an executive assistant, operations support, or strategic administrative role, with a focus on supporting C-suite or senior leadership.
- Strong background in investor relations or corporate communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences, from senior executives to employees and external stakeholders.
- Advanced organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex situations.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, especially when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Workspace, and communication tools (Slack, Zoom).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in team settings.
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

Pay Transparency
Salary for this role:
NY: $139,040 - $146,940
UT: $127,600 - $134,850
SF: $153,120 - $161,820
LA: $132,000 - $139,500
The cash compensation above includes base salary by location, and is not reflective of potential commission for employees in eligible roles, or annual bonus targets under Route's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all Route employees are eligible to participate in Routes equity incentive plan to receive stock options per the terms of the agreement. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their career level, skills, experience, specific geographic location qualifications and other job-related reasons.
