- Possess a valid driver's license with a spotless driving history
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Maneuver up to 150 pounds
- Strong organizational skills and efficient time management
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Proficiency with GPS devices and mapping software
- Previous experience in package delivery or a similar field is preferred
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery vehicle (typically a cargo van or truck) to transport packages to residential and commercial locations
- Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while optimizing efficiency
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with a friendly and professional attitude
- Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle
