What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yoga Instructor position at Rover?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct yoga classes for individuals or groups, providing guidance and instruction on proper techniques and poses
- Develop and implement customized yoga programs based on the needs and goals of clients
- Demonstrate and assist participants in modifying poses to accommodate different skill levels and physical limitations
- Provide verbal cues and hands-on adjustments to ensure proper alignment and form
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes relaxation, mindfulness, and overall well-being
- Monitor participants' progress, offer feedback, and provide motivation to help them achieve their fitness goals
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the field of yoga instruction
Requirements:
- Certification as a yoga instructor from a recognized organization or institution in your discipline
-Must have a current CPR certification
- Proven experience teaching yoga classes to individuals or groups
- Strong knowledge of different yoga styles, techniques, and modifications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively explain and demonstrate yoga poses
- Ability to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for participants of all ages and fitness levels
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and injury prevention related to yoga practice
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
Note: Experience or certifications in sports coaching, fitness sales, personal training, CrossFit, Pilates, or dance are considered advantageous but not required for this position.

Pay: $47.00 - $54.00 per hour
