This is not just another job.
This is a mission. A calling. A dream career for the right person.
We’re on the hunt for a rare breed—a true dog whisperer, someone who thrives on challenges, handles the “impossible” cases without breaking a sweat, and lives for the satisfaction of a perfectly trimmed paw. If you have a special way with animals, are obsessed with precision, and love working on your own—read on.
And for the right person? This isn’t just fulfilling—it’s a dream job.
You’ll earn great money doing work that truly matters.
Every visit, you’re changing a pet’s life—and earning a client’s trust.
You’ll get customers wanting you back - racking up tips, and feel like a rockstar in your own territory.
If you love working with animals, solving problems, and being darn good at what you do—there’s no better gig out there.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Top 1%: You’re the person that co-workers - groomers, vet techs, etc. call when no one else can get the job done.
- Independent Capable: You’re confident handling large, strong, anxious, aggressive, or senior pets solo.
- Confident and In Control: You take the lead with pets and people—firm, calm, and respectful. You know how to take charge without being forceful.
- Nail Trim Nerd: You actually enjoy trimming nails. You don’t just tolerate it—you get real satisfaction out a perfect peticure and a comfortable pet.
- Tough, Inside and Out: Weather, tricky pets, less than ideal spaces—you stay calm, focused, and professional.
- Passionate Animal Advocate: You love animals. You treat every pet with patience, skill, and respect—even the spicy ones.
What the Job Involves:
- Drive your own vehicle to homes within our service area
- Perform nail trims (dogs cats), basic grooming tasks (ear cleaning, paw trims, anal glands, etc.)
- Work mostly in-home, but occasionally in garages, on porches—98% inside
- Sell add-ons like products, ear cleaning, tooth brushing, and other small services
- Sell Products like dental powder, paw pad balm, ear cleaner, etc.
- Be professional, respectful, reliable, and a trusted guest in every home
What You’ll Make:
- This is a commission-based role, not hourly—but if you're doing it right, you won’t be scraping by.
- Minimum expected earnings: $35-$40/hour including tips. That’s the baseline for someone who’s solid.
- Top performers who sell add-ons and products, move efficiently, and build trust with clients regularly earn $45–$60 /hour – this includes tips.
- Tips are huge—clients love techs who connect with their pets and deliver results.
Job Launch Bonus:
- Before you start earning on your own, you’ll complete 6–20 hours of field shadowing with a lead tech (training is unpaid and focused on our tools, systems, and process).
- After that, you’ll do 3 working days on your own.
- If you’re meeting expectations and continuing with the team, you’ll receive a Job Launch Bonus to reward your effort and cover the training period.
- This protects our trainers’ time and ensures we’re investing in the right people—and if you’re the real deal, you’ll appreciate it.
What Makes This a Dream Job:
- Real autonomy – You’re trusted to do what you do best without micromanagement
- Flexible Start – You'll begin with as-needed shifts on weeknights and/or Sunday afternoons, but as demand grows, you could move into steady afternoon-to-evening hours and even full-time.
- Room to rise – Opportunities to become a trainer, manager, etc.

- Must be strong, calm, fast, and skilled
- Must be comfortable selling add-ons and earning tips
