What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef de Cuisine position at Row 34?
Row 34 is a vibrant, high-energy neighborhood oyster bar with locations currently in Boston, Cambridge and Burlington, MA as well as Portsmouth, NH.. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience.
We have daily printed menus that focus on local and seasonal New England seafood. We work closely with different farmers and fishermen to bring the freshest available products to the kitchen. We do all our own smoking and curing of seafoods, a ceviche and crudo program as well as a creative menu with seafoods and classic dishes from around the New England area.
Row 34 is now searching for a Chef de Cuisine to join the team at the newest location opening this fall in the heart of Kenmore Square.
This management position will invest heavily in Row 34’s service, hourly and management teams as well as, the overall operations of the restaurant. The Chef de Cuisine will work closely with the General Manager to ensure food and service standards are met or exceeded and that the restaurant performs at the highest level every day.
Requirements :
- Must be professional
- Must have appropriate cooking experience and knowledge
- Willingness to learn about seafood
- Work closely with front of house team to meet guest expectations
- Experience managing back of the house in fast-paced restaurants appreciated
- Should be excited about learning and teaching
Salary is competitive ($90K – $95K), plus an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package including :
