Coaches are hired as employees (not independent contractors) as we invest in your development and growth as a rowing-based fitness professional.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrive to the studio [15-30] minutes prior to class time
- Deliver Row House music-driven workouts to groups of 25 clients
- Create an inclusive class environment, where ALL participants can be successful and feel accomplished
- Create a class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to the Row House standards and guidelines for each class taught on the schedule
- Build Row House class attendance and retain current member base
- Create a personal connection and conversation with members before, during and after classes
- Teach proper rowing technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience
- Ensure safety of clients in regards to rowing and floor exercise technique
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, including, but not limited to Row House University or any required continuing education
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
- Set up rowers and explain the class format for prospects and new clients
- Maintain strong social media presence to increase class following
Position Requirements:
- Love of boutique fitness is a must – Passion for rowing or low-impact exercise is a STRONG plus
- Active CPR/AED certification required
- Fitness Certification preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Must exude charisma & thrive in a group environment.
- This role requires submitting a brief audition video as part of the interview/audition process
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically able to row with the class and demonstrate floor work exercises in a dimly lit room, monitor client’s movements, and provide hands-on corrections (as needed and if desired by the client)
- Physically able to lift, pull, push, and carry 1-40lb equipment
- Adjust and operate rowing machine
- Strong verbal skills (proficient in speaking and understanding English)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
