Description
Primarily responsible for administering accommodated course tests and maintenance of accommodated course test files. Also administers, proctors, scores, and processes tests (i.e., College Placement Exams and external tests including ATI-TEAS, CLEP, ETS exams, Comira, Meazure Learning and Pearson VUE) as required. Assists with all data tracking and technical system requirements to ensure an effective and secure testing environment. In absence of the manager, the coordinator assists with coverage of the Test Center to include possible Saturdays at the RCBC Test Center.
This is a Support Staff Union position as stated in the Support Staff collective bargaining agreement- Grade 10
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- In the absence of the Manager, this individual is responsible for the operation of the Test Center.
- Assists with scheduling staff and provides testing coverage for days, evenings and Saturdays at the Test Center if Part-Time staff cannot provide coverage.
- Administers and monitors Accommodated tests, College Placement Exams and other external tests including ATI-TEAS, CLEP, ETS exams, Comira, Meazure Learning, Pearson Vue and other tests as assigned.
- Maintains operations within the test Center including appropriate processing of test submissions and completed exams, external testing faxes and scans quality control of files (including date review) and preparing daily test rosters, as necessary.
- Assists with all aspects of service within the center including monitoring student testing, scheduling exam appointments and responding to test center inquiries.
- Serves as the primary point-of-contact for Part-Time employees, faculty and external vendors in order to ensure consistent high-quality service to students and customers.
- Serves as a trainer for new Test Center employees (including external testing proctor training).
- Attends in-house training to learn how to administer unfamiliar exams, achieve and maintain certifications for proctoring external exams (including ATI-TEAS, Meazure Learning, ETS exams Comira and Pearson Vue and other tests assigned and utilizing Microsoft Office 360, Google docs/ sheets
- Maintains and provides daily and monthly reports
- Responsible for following all test center procedures including voice mail updates with center hours, course test preparation and course exam/supply submissions to campus courier
- Maintain inventory of office supplies in coordination with Division resources and assists with the order placement for supplies.
- Assists with all aspects of placement testing for incoming students
- Serve as one of the primary proctors for high stakes certification testing.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
